Facts
Estrela is an excellent example of resilience. She was sighted with a very serious injury in her chest region, which required a short period of time to fully recover without any human interference. She is the first registered jaguar that has attempted to carry her dead prey to ingest on a treetop, like her African cousin, the leopard. However, this effort was unsuccessful.
