Pantanal, the main base of Onçafari, is where we began our work – focused on jaguars – in 2011. We work with all six sectors in this biome: science, ecotourism, reintroduction, education, social, and forest-related issues.
We operate at Caiman, a farm of over 53 thousand hectares in South Pantanal, near Miranda, Mato Grosso do Sul.
* Tours with Onçafari are charged separately. When making the reservation confirm availability.

We are also present at Refugio da Ilha, an unique part of Pantanal at the Salobra river delta.
Watch the connection between Pantanal and the Cerrado of “Serra da Bodoquena” at the margins of Salobra river. We monitor jaguar’s population at this important transition area and also develop responsible wildlife watching by boat at Refugio da Ilha ecolodge, a truly scenic paradise.
