The book The Jaguar in Pantanal Culture by Adriano Gambarini (@adrianogambarini), Laís Duarte (@laisduartemota) and Mario Haberfeld (@mariohaberfeld) explores ecological and cultural aspects of the jaguar in its natural habitat and the perspective of Pantanal locals on this iconic species. In addition to recounting the journey of the Onçafari Project and what we have learned over the years by habituating and closely monitoring these great felines, the book presents fascinating stories and powerful images of the queen of the forest, an emblematic species of Brazil’s wildlife.
